When I used to make quesadillas (always with lactose-free cheese, of course), I always felt like they were missing something.  Enter this sauce.  It’s also good for soft shell tacos or anything else with that general flavor profile.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup mayo
2 Tbsp minced jalapenos
2 Tbsp water
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions:

Add all the ingredients and mix.  Done.  Just spread a thin layer on your tortilla shell, add your other favorite quesadilla ingredients, cook and eat.

It adds just a hint of spice, which I find perfect.  I am a bit of a baby when it comes to spicy food, though, so if spice is your thing, just add more jalapeno and/or cayenne and your sauce will be to your taste!
