This is a delicious flank steak recipe that just brings out the best in this piece of meat.
2 lb flank steak
1/2 cup soy sauce
4 tbsp water
6 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 resealable plastic bag
1) Place all ingredients, except flank steak, into the plastic bag, seal the bag, and shake well to mix.
2) Add the flank steak, re-seal the bag, and shake the bag slightly to ensure the flank steak is coated.
3) Refrigerate the bag/ingredients overnight (for best results).
4) Grill over medium-high heat for 12 minutes on each side (each grill will vary, be sure to keep an eye on the meat).
Note: Let the meat rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Slice thinly.
